Receivables Management Association of Canada (RMA) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the first event in our 2012 Webinar Series on June 7th. The objective of our Webinar Series is to provide content that is relevant to professionals in the Canadian Receivables Management Industry.

Presentations from our June 7th 2012 Webinar are available below.

Our first event of June 7th  will start at 1:30 EDT  with a scheduled end time of 2:30 EDT.  It will focus on the various debt remediation solutions available to the Canadian Consumer.  We have organized a panel of speakers from the Consumer Debt Remediation Industry and will be asking them to describe their specific solutions, business practices and benefits to the end user – the consumer.  Additionally we have asked them to outline the various benefits of each offering to Creditors.

In selecting our panel, we undertook to bring representation from the prominent sectors included in Consumer Debt Remediation.  We pursued participation from the Trustee, Debt Settlement,  Credit Counseling and Contingency Collection industries and have graciously received confirmation of participation from each of the sectors.  Our panel is comprised of the following individuals:

·         Doug Hoyes, Trustee & Co-Founder, Hoyes Michalos & Associates Inc.

·         Richard Cooper, Founder & CEO, Total Debt Freedom Canada

·         Jeffrey Schwartz, Executive Director, Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada, Inc.

·         Jim Novosad, President, ARO Inc.

These participants have significantly different approaches to providing solutions to Canadian Consumers.  We have asked each of them to prepare a brief presentation describing their consumer value proposition and the panel has agreed to take questions from the moderator and directly from the viewing audience of the Webinar.
